I can connect to the internet but web pages with personal info will not show?
Q. I can log onto the internet but when I want to go onto MyeBay, or My account within Amazon or HMV where I have bought things before the window will not open. It does not let me enter my password or name there is an error message which says that the web page cannot be shown due to misspelling of the web site, or not being connected to the internet etc. none of which apply. I have tried emptying all temp internet files and folders, resetting the browser to the default setting, disabling my AVG firewall, resetting the computer to the day before this happened, accepting all cookies, lowering the security settings, changing the browser to internet exploer from BT Yahoo. This happened last Sat and one minute I could look at these pages and… [cont.]

A. Hi Alexis, On the top bar in IE go to Tools, Internet Options, under Browsing History select Delete - Now delete - Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and History. Now close IE, reboot your computer & you should be good to go. Norm
